「可居」、「可遊」、「儼然殊境」等語詞是古人品賞山水畫的至高讚譽之詞，其代表著山水畫境的重要本質，亦呈顯著先民對於畫中空間能否進行遊歷、居住的關注與嚮往。
本件作品核心概念在於探究古代東方虛擬空間議題。「語」指古籍畫論、畫幅題跋之語句，「境」為書畫家筆下所造的可遊、可居之虛擬世界。作品透過古代文句與今之批註，訴說著人類對於空間延展企求的歷史共通性。
Yearned Realm Textual Concept Display (2024)
The highest praise of the ancients for landscape paintings was that they could be traveled to and lived in, as if they were a mystical realm. This concept represents an important essence of Eastern landscape painting and reflects the early people's fascination and desire to explore and dwell within the spaces depicted in the art.
The core concept of this work is to explore the issue of virtual space in ancient Eastern thought. The artist creates a traditional stitched book display, presenting phrases from ancient painting theories and the inscriptions of the paintings (in black font), along with the artist's annotations after reading (in red font). This work illustrates the historical commonality of humanity's desire for spatial expansion.
